Kathleen Hanna's electronic feminist punk project formed in New York after Bikini Kill's dissolution. With Johanna Fateman and JD Samson, brought riot grrrl politics into dance-punk. As Hanna told Surface magazine, the visual work "fetishizes machinery like a feminist Kraftwerk while building bridges between DIY punk and conceptual art traditions." Released Feminist Sweepstakes (2001) and three albums total before hiatus in 2005, brief reformation 2016.
