William Bennett's extreme project coined "power electronics"—screeching feedback, sub-bass pulses, screamed vocals, no melody. They represented industrial's most uncompromising, confrontational edge, refusing any commercial concession. Their work influenced harsh noise (Merzbow) and death industrial (Brighter Death Now), remaining defiantly underground from 1980 until their dissolution in 2008.
