Composer who studied with La Monte Young before forming electric guitar ensembles. His 1977 Guitar Trio composition inspired Glenn Branca and laid groundwork for no wave's massed guitar experiments. Working at The Kitchen, began experiments with how minimalist drones could be weaponized through volume and repetition. His band the Gynecologists performed at the crucial Artists Space festival.
