Artist
Razorlight
Johnny Borrell formed Razorlight in 2002 after playing around London as a solo acoustic singer alongside the Libertines, who had taught him the bass lines for four songs for a Rough Trade showcase he failed to attend. The band played their first gig at Dingwalls in Camden in September 2002, signed to Mercury after a bidding war, and reached No 3 with their debut Up All Night in 2004.
