Go deeper · 1981-1995
Deep Space, released in 1995, gathered and expanded on the Metroplex singles Atkins had been putting out as Model 500 since 1985 — the run of records that, more than anything else, mapped what Detroit techno would become. Tracks like "No UFO's" show synthesizers arranged like architecture: functional, load-bearing, built to last.
