For the obsessed · 1988-1996
Kathleen Hanna made this bedroom solo record in 1998 on a $40 drum machine, bridging riot grrrl's DIY punk instincts with electronic experimentation. It arrived in the gap between Bikini Kill's dissolution in 1997 and the formation of Le Tigre, raw and intimate and lo-fi in a way that pointed directly toward Le Tigre's more polished dance-punk future.
