Forst

Forst, a small town in Baden-Württemberg, becomes unexpectedly significant as the base for Guru Guru after 1972, when the band relocates to work in relative isolation. The group's decision to work outside major urban centers reflects Krautrock's occasional rejection of city scenes in favor of communal, rural experimentation. Forst's contribution remains modest compared to major metropolitan centers but exemplifies the movement's geographic diversity.
