Team Dresch

Team Dresch grew out of Olympia at the intersection of riot grrrl and queer punk, founded by Donna Dresch, who also ran the influential Chainsaw zine, and Kaia Wilson. The band was active through 1998, carrying riot grrrl's ideas into explicitly queer territory the movement's early press had often overlooked. They reformed in 2004 and continue to perform, proof that the movement's reach extends well past its first wave and its original identity politics.
