Le Orme

Le Orme carried Italian prog's flag out of Venice, standing alongside PFM and Banco del Mutuo Soccorso in what fans regard as the scene's holy trinity. Active since 1966, the band built concept albums and stage shows elaborate enough to match their British counterparts, proof that Italy's prog explosion wasn't confined to the Rome-Milan axis.
