Corin Tucker's influential first-generation riot grrrl band that performed at the 1991 International Pop Underground Convention. Tucker's intentionally harsh, high keening wail was designed to make listeners uncomfortable, to demand attention rather than approval. Disbanded in 1994, leading Tucker to form Sleater-Kinney with Carrie Brownstein.
