Berghain resident DJ whose releases on Ostgut Ton defined the club's uncompromising techno sound through the 2000s and 2010s, playing six-hour sets in the former power plant where the architecture shaped experience as much as DJ selection—where everything in the building resonated and vibrated, where the Funktion-One Dance Stack made bass hit your chest before you heard it, where concrete walls and industrial infrastructure created acoustics that made you feel low-frequency pressure in your bones and organs. Embodied Berghain's marathon weekend format and no-photo policy, maintaining the space where you were supposed to disappear into sound rather than document your presence, protecting the experience that earned the club reclassification as a cultural institution in 2016.
