Marcel Dettmann
Marcel Dettmann became a Berghain resident DJ whose releases on Ostgut Ton set the tone for the club's uncompromising sound through the 2000s and 2010s. His sets ran six hours inside a former power plant where the room itself did half the work — the concrete and old industrial infrastructure turning low frequencies into something felt in the bones as much as heard, the Funktion-One rig pushing bass into the chest before the beat even registered.
