Artist
Bob Sinclar
Sinclar took French house out of the bedroom studios and toward the dance floor at large, blending disco samples with house rhythm in a style built more for functionality than experimentation. MTV featured him in its 1998 special on the "French house explosion," a sign of how far the sound had already traveled beyond Paris's underground clubs.
